Jukka-Pekka Saraste wins Norwegian Music Critics’ Prize

Jukka-Pekka Saraste has won the Norwegian Music Critics’ Prize for his performances of Mahler 2 with the Oslo Philharmonic in May earlier this year. This is an annually-awarded prize which is presented for outstanding contributions to Norwegian music life. Organised by the Norwegian Critics’ Association, the Awards presentation took place at Litteraturhuset in Oslo on 18 September 2013.

Previous winners include Mariss Jansons and Truls Mørk.
